Siba’s concerns- Part 1
Siba is a girl in the sixth grade, she dreams of having a mobile phone because all her friends have phones except her, but there is a well-fortified wall between her and achieving her wish: her Mom! “All my friends have mobile phones……. I want one too”. A lot of kids say that phrase and, in the family, the acquisition of a mobile phone for a child is often a matter of dispute and that’s how it is with Siba and her mother Huda. Siba’s dream is just like any other girl her age and every time she talks about having a mobile phone with her mother the answer is: NO.
Her Mother believes since there’s a landline and a mobile phone in the house there is no need to buy Siba one. Siba thinks that all her friends have phones so it’s important for her social status among her friends. It’s a real, entertaining and interesting story directed for boys and girls but also popular with adults. The story most Arab families live these days talks about the girl Siba and her funny attempts to have her own mobile phone. So, how did this exciting story end? And did Siba get what she wants?

Siba has grown and her worries are different and became part of her little family concerns. In this story, Siba talks about the economic crisis in Dubai and how it negatively affected her father’s job and the life of her family and explains how they passed it. It is a new wave that rises, falls and recedes, experienced by every family ... The advantage of this story is that you start reading it, so you do not get up from your session until after you finish it ... it pulls you and does not strain your nerves.

هموم صبا – الجزء الأول
صبا فتاة في الصف السادس نحلم باقتناء هاتف جوال، فكل رفاقها يملكون هواتف جوالة، ماعداها، لكن سدًّا منيعاً يحول بينها وبين تحقيق رغبتها:أمّها! ...
"كل أصحابي لديهم هواتف جوالة.... أنا أيضاً أريد جوالاً". كثيراً ما يردد الأطفال تلك العبارة, وكثيراً ما يكون اقتناء هاتف جوال للطفل موضع خلاف في العائلة. وهذا هو الحال مع صِبا ووالدتها هدى. فحلم صِبا هو حلم جميع الفتيات اللاتي بعمرها، وكلما واجهت والدتها بموضوع اقتناء جوال كان رد والدتها لا.
فرأي والدتها أن في المنزل هاتف ثابت وآخر نقال فلا داعي لشراء جوالاً لصِبا في هذا العمر. ورأي صِبا أن جميع رفاقها يملكون هواتف جوالة، وأن عدم إقتنائها لهاتف جوال ستؤثر على مكانتها الاجتماعية بين رفاقها. إنها قصة واقعية شيقة ومسلية، مخصصة للفتيان والفتيات ولكن تنال إعجاب الكبار أيضاً. قصة تعيشها معظم الأسر العربية في يومنا هذا. تحكي عن الفتاة صبا ومحاولاتها الطريفة للحصول على جوالها الخاص. فكيف كانت نهاية تلك القصة المثيرة ؟ وهل حصلت صبا على ما تريده ؟

كبرت صبا وصارت همومها مختلفة ، وغدت جزءا من هموم عائلتها الصغيرة والكبيرة . تحكي صبا في هذه القصة عن الأزمة الأقتصاديّة في دبيّ وكيف انعكست سلبا على عمل أبيها وتاليا على حياة العائلة ، ومن ثم كيف تجاوزتها الأسرة . انها موجة جديدة ترتفع وتنخفض وتنحسر ، تعيشها كل عائلة ... ميزة هذه القصة أنك تبدأ بقراءتها فلا تقوم من جلستك الا بعد ان تقوم من الانتهاء منها ... تشدك ولا توتر أعصابك .
